Jasmine, aka Mummy's Mummy, nee Jackson.

I have started interviewing Mummy's Mummy - while looking at photographs. As I transcribe the stories/information of each photograph I will add them to this page. So far I have two stories about 2 photographs. I will hopefully be adding to this page soon so please keep checking!

This is my grandfather who was a justice of a peace in Murry, his name was Ebenezer, which nobody ever called him by. Ebenezer Gladstone Mac George - everybody called him "Glad"; because his father had been friends with the great Gladstone and named his son after him; and he was of Belfast, but I can give you more information about him too. He is wearing his court robes to go to Dublin castle. - As told to Emily and Sheila, May 22nd, 2004 |

And this is my grandmother in her court robes going to Dublin Castle. And there was another portrait, which I had which described about the
green dress. See - Edwardian dress. Pale blue dress with taffeta bows
of blue velvet says Mama. Black velvet hat with blue matching ostrich
plums. And then there was another picture of her in a dinner dress of
moss green velvet, which is gone. |
